THE RETURN OF SITGES QUEER!

THE RETURN OF SITGES QUEER!

After a short break Sitges Queer returns with news of an exciting project in the pipeline! Following two try out performances in Sitges, my new play THE LUXURIOUS TIME - A QUEER LOVE STORY is to tour the UK opening at the Omnibus Theatre in Clapham, London, as part of the queer 96 Festival June 4th - 6th.

The Luxurious Time is a solo theatre show written and performed by Martin Lewton and directed by Nathan Crossan-Smith - the true story of a a queer couple's life as one of them succumbs to Alzheimer's disease. It poses the question: when dementia strikes can love survive? Based on notes taken at the time it is a powerful and moving play which is also sometimes surprisingly humorous.
